These are the exact words by Deepika, “When we’re with each other, we don’t need anything or anyone else. We’re comfortable in each other’s presence. Sometimes it’s intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there’s a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded. We are good in that sense.”

It was the time when Karni Sena ahead of the release of film Padmavat, said they want to chopped off Deepika’s nose. This made Ranveer filled with such rage that he said, “I was filled with rage. There’s no doubt about that. I had a very strong urge to act out, to speak out, but I was given strict instructions not to. And I had to respect that, because I was not at the forefront of this fight,”
Like Ranveer even Deepika at so many instances has said that she loves Ranveer as an actor as an human being and is his biggest admirer. For example when during the promotions of Padmavat she said, “I cannot think of any actor who would have done this role and brought in the kind of intensity he did with Khilji.” or when she said that she hates the fact that people just talk about his energy. “It irks me that people only talk about his energy, He is so much more. He is sensitive, he is emotional, he is honest. In short “He is a complete Man.”
