No we are not talking about the surname as she can add Bhagnani to her name without removing Padukone, just as Kareena and Aishwarya did. Apparently, in Sindhi, there’s an important ritual that a girl has to change her first name post marriage. While to each its own, we doubt Dippy who is a strong supporter of ‘My Choice’, will believe such social stigmas. There’s no doubt that Deepika is head over heels in love with Ranveer. But whether she will change her name just for the sake of a ritual is something which is hard to tell
Deepika and Ranveer will be taking their nuptial vows tomorrow in Konkani style while on 15th November the couple will be saying ‘I do’ according to Sindhi rituals.
