Never expected the response to be laughter along with anger, tears, and truckloads of hugs. I felt like I performed a RomCom on stage. As I toured with the show, I understood that being Hoemonal is not my isolated story but everyone’s experience. Being conservatively raised and now, to date, like a character from a sitcom, or to flirt and use a pick-up line on a man when we have grown up being told not to seek attention, all while dealing with hormones having a rave party inside our bodies, Hoemonal is my chaotic experience of a female life.”
