Prabhas, the Rebel Star, has finally got some redemption with his horror comedy The Raja Saab. After a theatrical run that can only be described as a nightmare, the film seems to have found its last breath on OTT. After 8 weeks of its theatrical release, it has arrived on JioHotstar and made an impact with its viewership in the debut week on the platform.
Despite unbearable reviews and a flop verdict in theaters, the curiosity around the film remained on OTT. The digital version with extended footage, including the much-hyped unseen aged look, added to the hype of the digital arrival, and this strategic move by JioHotstar turned the troll fest into a viewership pool!
The Raja Saab OTT Verdict
The Raja Saab, in its debut week of streaming on JioHotstar, garnered a great viewership of 3.4 million, being the only film, apart from Dhurandhar, finding a spot in the list of the most-watched OTT assets in India for the week of Feb 9 – 15, 2026, as per Ormax data.

Prabhas‘s film managed to enter the top 10 debut week viewership for a theatrical release that arrived on OTT platforms, apart from Netflix. It matched its debut week’s numbers with Mohanlal’s Hridayapoorvam!
