Jonathan Nolan’s Fallout is all set to release this week. The series is based on a video game of the same name. Nolan’s show stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Mike Doyle and others. Jonathan is also known for his notable work with brother and director Christopher Nolan for The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Interstellar and others. The filmmaker has shared his love for Indian movies and has interesting advice for Kalki 2898 AD.
Kalki 2898 AD is one of the biggest releases of 2024. It’s a sci-fi dystopian thriller that stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The Telugu film is directed by Nag Ashwin. The posters and promo so far have garnered enough excitement from the moviegoers.

In an interview with Times of India, Jonathan Nolan, known for delivering fantastic sci-fi films, was asked what advice he would give to Kalki 2898 AD makers for delivering a successful sci-fi movie. The director initially said he doesn’t have a lot of great advice for extraordinary filmmakers. The Westworld creator said that Bollywood shoots more sci-fi than Hollywood nowadays.

The Dark Knight co-writer stated, “One of the things I admire so much about Indian films is the inherent practical beauty of on-location photography and incredible stunt work. So I don’t think I have a lot to offer. But I think in terms of world-building, I think it really comes from playfulness. One of the reasons why some of the projects that we work on are in that space of science fiction is the fun and thrill of getting a chance to talk a little bit about how the world, what it might become and what you think it should become in some cases.”
Meanwhile, Fallout will release on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024. On the other hand, Kalki 2898 AD is slated to release in theatres on May 9, 2024. However, there is speculation that the release date might be postponed due to the elections.
