Richa Chadha – Bold and fearless as Shakeela, First Look Out!

Actress Richa Chadha unveils the first look poster of the forthcoming biopic Shakeela and says it is “Bold and Fearless”.

Richa Chadha took to her social media account and shared the first poster for the film. She had captioned her post, ” Bold and fearless. PRESENTING THE FIRST LOOK OF #Shakeela! @indrajitlankesh @shakeelafilm”
In the film actress Richa will essay the role of the popular south film star Shakeela. The south film star is known for her adult films in the south industry and became an overnight sensation after her first mainstream movie Playgirls in which she acted alongside the famous late actress Silk Smitha.

Who is Shakeela?

The biopic will showcase the intense life of the 41-year-old adult star Shakeela who was amongst one of the highest paid actresses in the south. She is known for her work in Tamil, Telugu, Kanadaa and Malayalam films and her biopic will explore her world outside of her stardom.

Shakeela acted in many B grade movies. One of her big hit films was Kinnarathumbikal in Malayalam, which brought her into limelight and resulted in an unheard-of craze for her from youngsters to the old. She did a few controversial topless scenes in her initial movies, but once she got noticed after Kinnarathumbikal.

Release Date

n the film Richa will be romancing Malayalam star Rajeev Pillai, who will be essaying the role of Shakeela’s love interest.
The film is directed by Indrajit Lankesh and is expected to release in summer 2019.
