Mirzapur a web series created and written by Karan Anshuman, Puneet Krishna and Vineet Krishna for Amazon Prime has obviously been primed to turn on the competitive heat on Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games’ which has already caught the fancy of the Indian OTP viewer.
‘Mirzapur’ is a sort of Wasseypur, a Gangster heartland that evokes similarities to Anuraag Kashyap’s epoch-making cinematic tone. Mirzapur stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Rasika Duggal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Amit Sial and Kulbushan Kharbanda.
Though Mirzapur has not got that kind of widespread acclaim as Sacred Games, the popularity of the series is very much happening. People are sharing their views about this Amazon original on every social media platform, some also started making memes about the shows and they are hilarious, many were obviously seen comparing it with Sacred Games and making jokes out of it.
