Kareena Kapoor is one actress who has always been outspoken about her thoughts and at a time when Film fraternity is still diplomatic on the whole MeToo movement, Kareena openly stated that she stands proudly with all the women who have come out and share their ordeal in the wake of MeToo movement.
At the press meet of her Radio debut show, ‘What women want’, When Kareena was asked about the safe working environment for women in Bollywood, the actress said, “Of course the safe environment for women that’s what we want. The fact that so many women are coming out and speaking out is really appreciable and I stand proudly with them. I really appreciate all those women who have come out and shared their story. We have to keep the conversation alive in order to make it successful. A lot of stands has been taken. The legal course has taken so it’s a huge change.”
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in Dharma Productions upcoming films ‘Good News’ and Takht. While she will be paired opposite Akshay Kumar in Good News, in Takht Kareena will be playing Ranveer Singh’s sister’s role.
