

Recently, the reports were out that after 20 years Karan Johar was finally planning a sequel to his cult film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Sources close to the filmmaker said that, “Karan has cracked an idea for a sequel. Now, all he needs to do is to develop it, which he’s doing and pretty soon there will be an announcement,” says the source.
Source also added that Karan was thinking of casting Tiger Shroff, Alia Bhatt and Disha Patani, in the lead of the sequel “But stay alert for the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai sequel. Most probably, it will happen sooner rather than later,” sources added.
Many fans of the director were excited to hear the news of Karan making the movie but it all ended to be a rumour. Once Karan heard about the news he wasted no time and replied to the story, he took to his Twitter and tweeted ‘No’, confirming that he will not be making the sequel of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

On the work front, Karan Johar is busy directing his next titled Takht starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. The movie is slated to release in 2020.
