Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding is indeed one of the biggest affairs in Bollywood. The duo commenced their wedding rituals as on November 12, with a Konkani ceremony called Phool Muddi. The Ram Leela couple exchanged rings in the presence of 40 people. Interestingly, during this formal ritual, Bhavnani and Padukone family set the dance floor on fire. As per reports in DNA, The couple’s family broke into a jig and Deepika-Ranveer danced at the sit-down dinner.
The reports further stated that Ranveer and Deepika reached the CastaDiva resort over the weekend. On 12th, they welcomed guests personally and looked stunning. Speaking about the formal sit-down dinner, a source told Mid-Day, “The evening had two functions lined up- an engagement ceremony and a sit-down dinner. Deepika and Ranveer welcomed the guests personally at the entrance of the Casta Diva resort, which was all lit up. Both flaunted western outfits- while Deepika wore a white dress, Ranveer sported a black creation. They exchanged rings in the presence of about 45 people including their families and entourage. The ceremony was followed by a formal dinner where the couple thanked everyone for being part of the special occasion. The guests were categorically requested not to share any pictures from the function.”
Meanwhile, Ranveer and Deepika will tie the knot today in Konkani style wedding at Villa Del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. Tomorrow i.e. on November 15, Bajirao Mastani actor will get married once again as per Sindhi rituals. Post wedding in Italy, DeepVeer have organised a grand reception in Mumbai where celebs like Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan will be attending their wedding reception on November 28, 2018. They will also host a reception in Bengaluru on November 21 for Deepika’s extended family.
