Amazon‘s digital assistant Alexa recently mistook the word ‘Chhod’ from the song Abhi Na Jao Chhod kar to ‘C**D’, which is an Indian slang. Although it isn’t the first time that artificial intelligence has gone a step ahead in a hilarious way but social media users simply couldn’t keep it together this time.
The glitch garnered attention when a Twitter user asked Alexa to play Asha Bhosle and Mohammad Rafi’s iconic song Abhi Na Jao Chhod kar. Not only was the word ‘Chhod’ beeped in the display, but even in the audio of the song. As the song was streaming on Saavn platform, Rohit also tagged Saavn app on his post. However Saavn clarified there was no filter from their side. Check out the post below

(1/2) Well this is…
We’re certain this is correct on Saavn, and not exactly sure where the filtering is coming from. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If there’s any way we can help, we’d love to! Do let us know the step-by-step navigation of how you’re playing the song and through which devices.

Let us tell you that Alexa is made in such a way that by default it beeps out swear words. Maybe that’s the reason that every song which has the word ‘Chhod’ in Alexa has been beeped out.
